We all know one, and probably have to work hard at times not to become one – those annoying moms who know it all, have it all, or opine on it all. I am posting to share a cute article on The Bump that identifies seven types of annoying moms – including the pack mule mama, the paranoid mama, and the TMI mama. The article is amusing because every mom can relate, and not just to people we know.
I believe every good mom has a bit of all these traits, the key is finding a balance. Personally, I happen to have an overstuffed diaper bag, but I have more fun on outings knowing I am prepared for any contingency. At times, I also become a Faux Brag Mama because I am just so proud of my baby boy (who has recently started crawling and pulling himself up onto furniture, by the way!). And complaining about how tired/ out of shape/ broke/ busy we are is a way that women bond, so I think being a bit of a Whiny Mama is not always a bad thing.
In the end, I would rather be (or befriend) any of these “annoying moms” than be detached from my child(ren) and the motherhood experience. Having a kid will make you a little crazy (some may say “annoying”), but hopefully, other parents can identify and will understand. 🙂
